About Economy Grade Reinforced Filament Tape
Economy Grade Reinforced Filament Tape is a pressure-sensitive tape commonly used in the commercial and industrial packaging industry. This tape is reinforced with fiberglass strands to improve the material’s strength and durability.
As an economy grade tape, it offers a tensile strength of 100 lb/in; this is our lightest filament adhesive and is recommended for lightweight loads. The tape is a roll of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film that is fortified by fiberglass strands and coated on one side with a synthetic rubber adhesive. The tape is easily applied with light manual pressure and the rubber adhesive provides a strong and secure cling to a variety of packaging surfaces. This high-quality tape resists moisture and abrasions.
Economy grade reinforced filament tape is ideal for securing small and lightweight shipments. We offer our reinforced tape from 3/8” to 3” widths at 4 mil to serve a wide range of applications. Tape dispensers are recommended for safe and convenient use of this product.
