About Wolverine Tape
Wolverine Tape is a kraft paper tape that is frequently used in commercial shipping and storage. This gum tape provides a durable, tamper-proof cling and superior tensile strength to keep your packages sealed and protected.
Gummed paper tape is made from kraft paper that is coated on one side with a starch-based adhesive. When a thin layer of water is applied to the tape, the adhesive activates and is ready for sealing. This water-activated adhesive is incredibly strong, effectively fusing with cardboard, paper, and other packaging surfaces. The adhesion is so strong, in fact, that it is impossible to remove the tape without damaging the tape and/or the package underneath, thereby preventing tampering and pilferage. The paper tape is reinforced with fiberglass strands, further boosting the tape’s high tensile strength.
