Medique Medi-Seltzer Antacid tablets are commonly used, over-the-counter medicines that neutralize stomach acid. They are used to treat symptoms of excess stomach acids such as heartburn, indigestion, or acid reflux. They work differently than the other acid reducers by dissolving in water. The aspirin content helps relieve the pain easily.

Active Ingredient (in each tablet):

  • Aspirin 325mg (NSAID).
  • Citric Acid 1000mg.
  • Sodium bicarbonate (heat-treated) 1916mg.
  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug.


  • Pain Reliever / Fever Reducer Antacid.


  • For the temporary relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, and sour stomach when accompanied with headache or body aches and pains.
  • Upset stomach with headache from overindulgence in food or drink, headache, body aches, and pain alone.


  • Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flulike symptoms should not use this product.
  • When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but seriousillness.
  • Allergy alert: Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include: Hives, skin reddening, facial swelling, rash, asthma(wheezing), blisters.

Do not use if you have:

  • If you have ever had an allergic reaction to any other pain reliever/ fever reducer.
  • Right before or after heart surgery.
  • If you are taking a prescription drug for gout, diabetes or arthritis.

Ask a doctor before use if:

  • Stomach bleeding warning applies to you.
  • You have a history of stomach problems such as heartburn.
  • You have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease.
  • You are taking a diuretic you reached age 60 or older.
  • you are on a sodium restricted diet.


  • Do not exceed recommended dosage, to avoid serious injury, completely dissolve tablets in 4 oz. of water before taking.
  • Adults and children 12 years and over (up to 60 years of age): 2 tablets every 4 hours.
  • Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours or do not use the maximum dosage for more than 10 days.
  • Children under 12 years of age: do not give to children under 12 years of age.
  • 60 years and older: do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours or do not use the maximum dosage for more than 10 days.
